The hot springs were a highlight of our Easter weekend stay in a rural Japanese hotel. The staff were attentive and welcoming, offering free pick up from the nearest train station. The hot springs were beautifully maintained and we enjoyed both indoor and outdoor bathing options. We were also impressed with the traditional tatami room, which offered a comfortable and authentic experience.
The breakfast buffet was a let-down, with limited options and cold food. The nearest dining places were also quite a distance away, making it difficult to find alternative options.

We had a great time in this hotel. Best aspects include the excellent cleanliness and the variety of facilities that were available. We appreciated the ease of parking and the helpful transportation services. Additionally, the location was perfect as it provided us with a beautiful view of the surrounding natural scenery. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet was not only delicious, but it also gave us the chance to sample some local delicacies. The staff was polite and dedicated to making our stay in this city worthwhile.
Nothing we didn't like to be fair.

We had a fantastic onsen experience in a rural area with friendly and helpful staff. the clear, slightly green-colored water with sulfur smell at the onsen was perfect. the room was clean and traditional Japanese, with yukata robes available. the delicious buffet breakfast with a variety of seasonal dishes and homemade pickles was unforgettable. There were great facilities like inside and outside hot springs with a sauna, and room amenities such as green tea and a kettle.
There was some difficulty communicating with the staff in English.

Clean Onsen and Big Bath, Great Breakfast, Helpful Staff During my recent city break, I enjoyed staying at a hotel with a clean onsen and big bath that had a well-maintained facility. the breakfast buffet was great and included various country-style Japanese dishes, along with some Western options. the staff at the hotel were quite helpful and friendly, which was a bonus.
Communication Barriers, Limited Food Options there were some communication barriers since the staff didn't speak English fluently, which made it hard to communicate at times. there were limited food options, and the dishes served during dinner were cold and weren't presented well.
